Hello Readers!
The rest of my week has been interesting. I lost 2.5 lbs. I know that because I finally bought a bathroom scale. It came in this morning! I was so happy! It’s hard to estimate how much you need to eat to lose weight when you do not know how much you lost already. I could see that I was losing through my waistline measurement and other things but calculations wise, that didn’t help much so I splurged a little.
Anyways, my metabolism has increased a little since a changed my meal patterns and I find myself less tired. I’m even waking up energized like I used to when I ate multiple meals before. Eating less meals is a convenient strategy but, I find that makes me crash more often and longer. It was like I never had enough sleep although I barely ever felt hungry. At least I know now and I feel more motivated go class, work, and even study. I guess multiple meals is the best plan for me.
Another thing that I bought was a new phone, today. Was more off an unplanned emergency that put a dent in my bank account but now that I am using the phone, I think was worth the money. God was just on my side with this situation. Last night (more like early this morning), I came home from volunteering at GatorNights and I really had to pee so, I rushed to the bathroom forgetting that my phone was in my back pocket and I guess you know what happens after that. Yep! My phone falls in the dormitory toilets! I grabbed it, reluctantly. It seemed fine but then, this morning, it showed its true colors. Just died on me at 7:36AM. I know the exact time of death because I heard it making weird sounds. The sleep was gone from my eyes by now. I just had wait for the buses to start running so I could get to T-Mobile and purchase the cheapest phone so, I did. I am now holding a LG Optimus L90 to blog to you all. This phone is way better than the phone I destroyed, an old small HTC with no space for my fingers or my texts, let alone apps that was given me for free when I switched from AT&T because I wasn’t getting signal on my old S2 anywhere and I wasn’t allow to upgrade. Overall, my week has ended on a pleasant note. I hope yours has been too and that next week is even better.
Thanks for listening to my rant,
Shikaardeta
