Get Out Of Your Scarcity Mindset

Listen, I hate to break it to you. But, you’re doing it again. You’re limiting yourself. You’re living in a mindset of scarcity, a mindset of fear that is limiting all your options.

Sometimes, we can really be our own enemies. Who needs enemies when we can sabotage ourselves, right?

What do I mean? I’m talking about this mindset of scarcity that you’ve been walking around with. You think you have limited options in life and its only hurting you more.

I mean what else do you do when you only have a choice between 2 evils? You choose the lesser evil, of course. Or do you choose the evil you know?

What if I told you that you didn’t have to choose between whatever has been given to you? You’d be relieved, right?

Well, you have that choice every day. Every day, you can make new options for yourself. Create a mindset of abundance and growth.

Your scarcity mindset has been creating a lot of fear, anxiety, and even depression in your life. You need to stop believing that only one person can be at the top. Just because your friend got a promotion in the same company, it doesn’t mean you can’t get promoted too now.

The “there-can-only-be-one” mindset is holding you back. You deserve more than that. You’re worth more than that.

Just because someone else wins, doesn’t mean you lose. The world is not that simple. Not everything is a competition.

We can all rise together. Stop creating false enemies for yourself. You’ll give yourself stress ulcers.

Stop taking yourself too seriously!

That’s how you make your nerves worse! You ever took a presentation too seriously? Then, you start to fumble your words. The index cards that you wrote to help you are unreadable.

It took you over 2 seconds to flip between the cards. Then, to make it worse, you tripped over the air when you were trying to move around the room. I’m not saying to take things too lightly and come unprepared, but realize that you don’t have to read your index cards word-for-word.

The same goes for life. Not everything will go according to the script in your head and that’s okay. Sometimes improvs turn out better than the script.

Remember you have the option to turn your mishaps into a lesson learned or at the very least, a funny story.

Focus on what you have an abundance of.

Stop focusing on what you don’t have. Okay, so you don’t have great balance. You trip over air, but what you do have is the ability to finesse the situation.

You also have great humor. Use your clumsiness as a time to break the ice with your audience. You may not be the most intelligent person in the room. But you have the ability to relate to others.

What do you have? Capitalize on what you have, not what you lack. Once you realize what you have an abundance of support, family, love, etc.

Take the time to appreciate all of that.

Doesn’t it make you feel lighter? That’s the feeling of an abundant mindset settling in. Don’t you feel a little more powerful?

That’s the feeling you need when you go out to accomplish your goals. Surround yourself with supportive and positive people who also have an abundant mindset.

Most of the time, we are surrounded by a scarcity mindset because it’s a great marketing tactic. What better way to get someone to buy your product than to make them realize that they lack it?

Lack of self-esteem? Maybe you need to lose weight. Buy my flat tummy tea!

Lack of confidence? Buy my confidence-enhancing course and get your confidence in 10 days! There are only 12 spots remaining.

We see these things all day. We live in the scarcity mindset and it’s hard to remove ourselves. But it’s not impossible.

Abundance is a state of mind.

Anyone can achieve an abundance mindset, no supplies necessary. Once you achieve an abundance mindset, only then will you achieve the freedom to fail, succeed, achieve your goals, and reach your full potential.
