New Semester, New Obstacle Course

Hello Lovely Readers!

I did not forget about you all. I came back to Gainesville this past weekend for school and the hotel that my family and I were staying in before move-in had no Wi-Fi. What type of hotel has no working Wi-Fi? A two star one. Never again and I’m not only saying that because of the Wi-Fi.

I’ve moved back into my dorm on campus. It is a bittersweet moment. I miss having my own bathroom. At least I knew was cleaned properly by me like I had in my apartment over the summer. I also didn’t have to share it with 40 other females. However, the dorms are right on campus and commuting or transportation is no longer an issue. My dorm room is not as big as my apartment room but, it’s bigger than the one I had last year. I live in a single so, that’s a plus and my room is pretty cute. I’m not going to lie. It’s cozy. I just hope my floor isn’t as loud and obnoxious as they were last year. The wall can seem pretty thin although they are made of brick and concrete.

I started work and school on Monday. I’m taking fifteen credits this semester. Hopefully, I can make it through. I have one 7:25 AM class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Waking up is a mournful event. Especially since I know I won’t be coming back home until at least after 6 on those days. I’m also the type that likes to wake up 2 hours before I have to be anywhere so, I can prepare and be able to have some leeway. Why do I have that bad habit? I would love to sleep an hour more but, I’d just end up rushing through my entire morning routine and beat myself up for almost being late because I like to cook breakfast and relax through the meal.

Anyways, this is my fall semester so far. I have high expectations for myself this semester and I hope I can complete them. I will definitely keep everyone posted and I’m still working on my time management and willpower so, hopefully things will start being posted on time.

Thanks for listening to my rant,

Shikaardeta
