Hey! I Have a Job!

Hello, my lovely readers!

I feel like its been ages since I last checked up on my blog. It’s just been a busy start to the week. I got a job on Monday, unexpectedly, too. It’s my first job so I’m happy about it. It’s at the university bookstore. I just walked in to ask a question about my application and they said, “you can start today!” I was shocked but in a good way. Hence, today will be my third day on the job. I had filled out so many applications before this one with no response back. That shows that when God has something for you, it’s for you. I am ever so grateful because I really need the money.

The bad news is that it is also finals week. Boo! So, in between working, classes, moving out of my apartment and barely studying, all I have done is sleep, eat and repeat. Hopefully, I can learn to manage my time a little better as time goes on. When I find the secret, I’ll blog about it so I can share it with the world. Anyhow, I decided to take some time out as a mini break so I can blog about my stresses to you all. It really helps me get out some of my stresses and worries.

Anyways, about my new job, I get paid. Yay! Of course, I get paid. I like my coworkers, they are all pretty nice and have already warned me about who to avoid, manager-wise. The job is easy so far. I’m being trained for the register but, I’ve also worked in the textbook section. The textbook area is calm and relaxing but, it gets slow fast which made me bored after an hour or so. The register has its slow points, too, but, the people up there are talkative so you never really have a dull moment. I like it. I just need to get better shoes because standing for so long hurts my feet and back.  Well, that’s my update for this week. Sorry, it’s so short.

Thanks for listening to my rant,
